This is a method which forms part of the toolkit when supporting a child with dyslexia. It is easy to use, predicable, has a set routine, a good pace and is multi sensory. This can be a very good way to support pupils learn those common words with unpredictable spelling patterns. It follows the same principles as successful interventions such as Toe By Toe. Here is a short tutorial outlining how this method can be used.
